Lenovo has recently unveiled its latest addition to the ChromeOS family, the Lenovo Chromebox Micro. This super-compact desktop computer is designed to power digital signage in high-traffic facilities, such as billboards and menu screens in restaurants. Measuring just 163 x 79 x 19.7 mm (6.4 x 3.1 x 0.8 inches), the Lenovo Chromebox Micro is smaller than most smartphones, making it perfect for tight environments. The Lenovo Chromebox Micro is set to be available in select markets worldwide from the first quarter of 2024, with prices starting at $219. While the initial focus is on businesses, it remains to be seen if the device will be made available to regular buyers. In the meantime, there are other options like the HP Chromebase, ASUS Chromebox 5, or CTL’s Chromeboxes for those in need of an all-in-one desktop running ChromeOS.
