According to the Wi-Fi Alliance, the Wi-Fi 7 certification process is expected to be finalized by the end of the first quarter of 2024.

Primarily, routers are among the first devices available, but the first motherboards equipped with components enabling Wi-Fi 7 support are also hitting the shelves. With the official certification, we can anticipate the widespread availability of these devices and a potential decrease in price.
One of the key features of Wi-Fi 7 is its operation across three frequencies: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz. This expanded frequency range allows for improved performance and reduced congestion in high-density environments.
